I've always heard Jonsered had acquired Partner before the buy out.  Jonsered Turbo saws were available here before Husky's Air Injected ones.  When the 2094 Jonsered Turbo came out Husky was still offering the 2101.

Not true, E-lux bought them all, one by one.

By now E-lux is out, and Husky owns the others ++++

It is correct that the 2051 predated the 262xp - but so what???? ::)

:D :D :D The  opposite is the truth, guess at which factory they are made....... :)

It started with the 670 and 630 in the early 1980s, and was completed just a few years ago - disregarding thye Poulan assambled saws of both brands of course.

To a very small extent - the Husky 162SE from 1976 was the forefather......... ;)

I almost bought a 394XP. That's a lot bigger than my 262XP.

I was going to use it with an Alaskan mill, but I haven't bought it yet, so I can wait a bit, I think.
