Wow! House is safe?

Ouch! I don't think anyone can be prepared for that kind of water unless on a ridge away from rivers.

House is fine, "high and dry" like Red said.   The question is:  Can standing woodworking machines be brought to life after being submerged in 5 feet of water?

The electric motors might be shot. I would imagine everything else is fine, except they will probably have some corrosion for sure like table saw surfaces.

Tough deal to go through. It can all be replaced as long as y'all are okay.
Two LT70s, Nyle L200 kiln, 4 head Pinheiro planer, 30" double surface Cantek planer, Lucas dedicated slabber, Slabmizer, and enough rolling stock and chainsaws to keep it all running.
