Hi,

I am attempting to upload some jpg files  but I am getting the error message "Pixel allowance exceeded" .  The file size is 27 KB which is below the posted limit of 30KB.   What am I doing wrong?

Also, once I get the file uploaded, how do I post it in my topic?

Thanks.

Tim

The same thing happens to me every now and then. I lowered it to around 24kb because I was in a hurry and it went through that time. Don't know why. Not pewtor liderut. I suppose I still exceeded 400 pixels.

Yep, you have to meet both sets of criteria. Actually, if you make a photo that is 300 or 350 at its widest point, it is almost the perfect size. Its plenty large enough to see things well, but small enough to really be able to crunch the file size. Usually the only time I have trouble getting my file sizes down is if there is a lot of red in the photo.
