I've had to use the liquid electrical tape a couple of times when DanG mice got in my control panel and chewed insulation off of some wires. It goes on like thick paint, just keep layering it on until well coated.

   Thx for the info on the liquid electrical tape. I'll keep that in mind.

   So far no issues noted with mice but the scout wasps were out in large numbers yesterday scoping out my mill in detail for a housewarming party. I'll have to keep an eye out for them.

Been getting mine at Home Depo and lowes. Any electrical supply store will have it.
Collector and builder of many things.

and Wood work shop work
And now a saw mill work

For those of you running a remote mill don't forget the connectors at the back of the remote station.That is where my problem was last time.
Also a weak brush spring can cause this.
