How long should the brushes last
Changed them about 4 or 500 hours ago and had to change them again today in the middle of an order .

Whoever answers your question needs to know that you have the standard hydraulic mill with the 1/2 hp motors on the up/down and power feed applications.  (Please correct me if I have misspoken.)

The SuperHydraulic mills have 3/4 hp motors.

I have not looked at the hrs. I go by the speed things are moving. Sometimes the brushes are not halfway used up. I put in a new set and got my speed back.

Have to be one with the mill, that way you pick up anything wrong. ffcheesy ffcheesy
