As mobile or permanent as a mobile home  ffcool ffcheesy

Just depends on how often one wants it somewhere else, or good enough where it sits for the time being.  :wink_2: :wink_2:

there were 3/4 md mills in central vt during the 80s 90s.   one in calais one
in st jay another in northfield area.
the guy in st jay sawed for an employer of mine. i remember the engine being troublesome, broken cranks.  it produced nice 2x lumber i remember.

It's got a VW engine and for anyone who is familiar with the air cooled VWs , the need to get underneath and adjust the valves was a real pita. But you don't have to get underneath on this , it's up topside now.

Plus it's a simple engine unlike the electronic EFI engines by Kohler on so many mills . If something goes wrong , you have to count the light blinks , translate to a code number and look up what the code means and start guessing at buying parts. Or call in the repair man with diagnostic software or spend $800 on said software.
O2 sensor
Throttle plate sensor
Temperature sensor
ECU
All these and more are a small solder joint from failure, each one is expensive to diagnose and replace.

That vw like engine is a blessing of simplicity, low cost to operate and keep running!
