Andy White

Talked to my cousin Thursday, and he asked me for a small shelf for his bathroom. He said he was in no hurry. This man has had a lot of eye problems , and can't see well. He wanted me to have his woodworking tools, so three years ago,  I bought the whole shop full of Delta equipment for less than the cost of one tool. Yesterday, I gathered up a few scraps of Red Oak and built his shelf. It was good not to get into a hurry or into a multi-day project. Enjoyed the sawdust and the aroma of a working shop while doing this. This is the results of a very enjoyable day.

The shelf will be mounted using a French Cleat.

Assembly uses M& T joints and Drawer Lock joints

Finish is Tung Oil.

Hopeful to install it for him Wednesday. Making sawdust of any kind is Great Fun!!!     Andy

I really like that a lot.  Great shelf.

I tried to use a French Cleat like that on my recent shelf project and after glue-up I realized I had the bevel facing the wrong direction  :D... :'(
