all in fun, but I have you at 8.2% weight loss so far, and only 1.9 pounds or 0.6% left to go to get back in the 70s.  I have lost 4% and have 3# to go, or 1.6% to go, so there!!!
I just need some motivation!

But you are much closer to where you want to end up, and that is the hardest weight  to lose.

true!  well I am getting motivated to the next push.  we are both winners as well as others.  I guess I could fast a day, and dip under, but I am looking for long term health, as well as you.

so you are approaching 25 to 27% weight loss.  I would love to give you advice but you are doing very well on your own. I will take some time, and I agree, it will get harder as you approach your goal.  for many of us, if we are not trying to loose, we may gain!

@ randy d:  Yes randy, but where will you find a Kwik Trip?

One time on Public Radio, some guys were jokingly describing the area they were hiking in as "so remote, they were more than ten miles from the nearest Kwik Trip"!  That's a convenience store/gas outlet......that we've got quite a few of here in this state~You might see one from time to time.
Ask me about hybrid larch!

randy d

Wisconsitom we have Kwik Trips 30 miles north south and east of us in Medford south Tomahawk and Park Falls to the north guess I am lucky there not closer or I would not be losing weight. Randy

Making eating fun! Never normally would I cross Brussel sprouts and Chicken pizza. Very fine and at a total estimate of 900 calories, fit well under the 1800 calories I try to limit  my day to. Since i quit drinking calories, I've not exceeded my limit once. I've got my head in the game!

Feeling good milled all winter this year with the new mill.
That helped plus eating right.
It looks to be a busy spring.
That will help with the weight loss.

When you hit your target weight, be careful how you celebrate so you don't gain it back. :)

Great job folks! I have been following along.

At 5'6" I"m looking to get to 180 but I seem to be stuck at around 190 it goes up an down about 6 lbs (187 - 193 ish) but that is still better than the 210 I was a few years ago. So far my plan has been "Don't eat so DanG much" and it has worked. I also try to eat more veggies less cookies trying to concentrate on a all around healthier diet without starving myself of any food group.

It has been a matter of putting less on my plate making sure I can see the plate around each type of food on it. I'm pretty sure plates have been getting bigger over the years (will a modern plate even fit in an old cupboard?)

I recently re-watched a Canadian science show on food and weight loss and health, found it quite interesting so I thought I would share a link to it, who knows it may help someone or it my be all BS.

Keep up the good work.
