Anyone here have any suggestions on Russian Forestry reading?

You'll find books from western Europe, but maybe not the east or Russia. Might not be translated.

Tonich may know of a book or two, from Bulgaria, they were an occupied eastern country. He's a forester.

I have never read Russian books in original.
However, a great deal of Russian forestry methods exist in Bulgarian textbooks, so they are accepted in the local forestry practice.

Let me know what is the article you would be interested in!

I am just interested in how they practice forestry in Russia.  Curious as to markets, mills, valuable species and where the timber grows.

There are quite a good amount of books online...  but in Russian.  :(

I would suggest to Google it and find what comes out in English.
Good luck!
