Not being able to hear if you don't want to definatly has it's advantages but I would give it up in a heart beat to be able to hear the birds sing in the morning, alll the sounds of music instead of just a few, ect, ect. Protect what you got my friends. I can't say it enough.

You can pick out the old farmers and woodsmen around here, they all wear hearing aids.  ;)

I got my kit a couple weeks ago I like the muffs better than what I had been wearing.
The company called yesterday to check on me. ;D
Together we got this !

Engineer

I got my kit last week.  They called as well to see how I liked it.  They got the answering machine though.

Considering all the stuff they send you, almost makes me feel guilty.  That's a lot of free earplugs and a really nice set of earmuffs.  I'd been needing an extra pair or two for the kids, working around the chainsaw and tractor while I'm cutting firewood.

Of course, now I'm trying to figure out how to get another kit.....   ;)  I'm just gonna go buy some more earmuffs.  I don't like plugs all that much.

Thanks for the link, got mine a coupe of weeks ago.

Received mine too. Also one who feels a bit guilty, but I'll be passing them on to others to try out.
Thanks to Dustin and the company.

I use the soft plugs when woodsplitting, chainsawing, tractor and lawn work..as well as when I go shopping for the places where the music is playing too loud or unforgivable tunes. :)  That is where I'd really like to have the muffs on  ;D ;D  When running equipment, I like to retain some hearing to sense trouble and keep awareness of moving parts.

I got mine as well.  I would feel guilty, but I have been telling everybody I see how good their stuff is.  I intend to bring some samples in for my current employer as well.  Those guys make some nice stuff!

Ad me to this list. It really is a large selection of their products. I see they make earmuffs with AM/FM radio. I am always having problems with the Peltors so I think I'll try them out.

   Thanks for the link! :)

One thing I noticed when wearing hearing protection, is that my hearing gets more sensitive. I suppose its making up for it being too quiet! If you are around loud noise your hearing turns itself down(although it's being damaged) so this must be the opposite effect.

The only thing I can't hear is a baby crying with a dirty diaper :)
I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant! :)

I felt almost guilty when I opened the box.
Money has been flowing out awful fast lately, the box arrived unexpected. (i forgot about asking for it)
My cup just felt overfull er box

could we ask these people to be sponsors? They did not send a price list, I think everybody may get ear defenders for christmas.
