It's another Blue Moon

Today is the official day of the blue moon.

We have discussed the size of the moon on the horizon before, and its apparent size to the naked eye.  This is when the moon will be the lowest and the optical illusion at is greatest.  It will make a great opportunity to take the kids to an open space and discuss the phenomenon.
