We try to get out and maybe take a hike, canoe, or something...but with this rain every day and trying to build a house its been hard at best.  Today was the first day with sunshine for a month? so we made a run for it.

That's a pretty spot Larry.  Does that stream run like that all the time, or is it swollen from all that rain?

Normal flow would be a small trickle of water over the falls...but for the last two months it has rained most every day...or it seems that way.

The picture is of the Kings River headwaters...it becomes floatable about 10 miles downstream and eventually empties into Table Rock Lake.  The White River, along with War Eagle Creek start on the same mountain.  Than a few miles to the east, on another mountain the Buffalo, Mulberry, Big Piney, and a few other streams start.

BTW, today started with 2" of more rain. :'(

The river came up 8' in just a few hours last night.

You could easily float over the falls this morning...iffen your Evil Knievel. :D

I don't know how much it rained at home, but Lindy just emailed me that she can't get out due to high water in the creek at the end of the driveway.
