Hey all,

I have a craftsman saw #358350201. When I took it apart to replace the carb and fuel lines there was a little rubber boot thing. I looked up the diagram and its called a isolator. I have no idea where it goes, nor its purpose. Help please.

Can you post a picture to give us an idea of what  you are looking at?

The saw is a Poulan made 46cc clamshell model. The isolator is just a flanged rubber plug.

Look for a hole in the saw case in the carb area that the plug will fit into. I believe that's where it goes but that's just a guess.

Interesting, ill look for a location that might accept it. Thanks

We had 3 identically built shop saws at the mill. One gray, a montgomery wards, an orNge one that was a craftsman, and a lime green poulan. Parts were interchangeable.

Yep, Poulan rebranded a lot of saws for retailers.
