Dear community,

I have searched this forum and haven't found any info on the topic of this type of carb cap. I have also searched other forums but haven't found what I am looking for.

I am aware of using a dry wall screw to remove the "epa" caps but this model is more than resilient. It is on a walbro carb and I would like to remove it in a way as to reapply after correction. If I pull it I can only get it off 1-2mm. That's all. After that it just snaps in place and I could hang the saw from the limiter!
Any one an idea?

Here is a pic from the outside.

Thanks for the help!

p.s. it's about this saw

All you have to do with those is grind or clip the plastic lobes off. You may have to remove the cover or carb to do so.

Nippers for the plastic, then dremel  tool that little stem off ("cut off wheel") back so the "spline" is accessible to the carb adjustment tool .. essentially a spline drive about the size of a screw driver
