White oak disease

I have a white oak with some kind of disease.  The leaves come out just fine in the spring but they start turning brown and by July 1 all of the leaves will be brown for the rest of the year.  This is the fourth cycle for this tree doing the same thing.






The tree has a 26" dbh good 16' sawlog in it.  Don't really need it but I sure don't want it going to waste.  Also concerned that whatever it has might spread to my healthy white oak trees in the vicinity.

I'm curious what you come up with. I followed it as best I can and then it asked for details that I can't quite see in your pictures.
