Normal leaf

Not so normal. We would hate to loose this tree, any thoughts on what is happening?
We saved this tree all throughout the building of our house dispite it being in the way often.
The Mrs has sprayed it with bug stuff that she sprays her apple trees with. Did it last year also but did not have this reaction. Apple trees are fine.

The red is new growth.  Nothing abnormal about it. It will turn green at some point.
Looks vigorous and healthy to me

Lots of oaks around here look like that. I'm guessing they are having a good growing season with all the rain and putting on some new foliage in reaction to the gypsy moth last year and a late frost this spring.

Also a lot of dead oaks around after the caterpillar attack last summer.

Thanks! That's much better news than what was going through my mind.

Lammas growth, seeing it here to. A second flushing mid season. :)

The top of the crown on my white oak is lime green with a second flushing. My Norway maples are red on top with a second flush.

All this rain this summer. :)
