Filling in studs between rafters and queen posts

Hi, me again.  Another question I am having a little difficulty finding info about is this:

How would I fill in a horizontal stud (could not find a better term) to accept vertical inner wall sheathing, between the end common rafters and the queen posts?  What would be an appropriate joint where it meets the rafter at that angle?  I would let these in from the outside of the finished frame.

I would call them a nailer. or a girt, but some people put girts from bent to bent, not in a bent.
The rafter end is treated like a collar beam or brace tenon with a tenon, peg, and housing.

Thanks for that Jim.  Should be doable to assemble it as the rafter is installed.
