Sorry to hear this, hope all is well

NRCS-funded jobs were shut down last year in Mass and will probably be shut down this year as well. I received a letter from them stating that they are considering it but are waiting for Fish and Wildlife to make some decisions. They are supposedly putting together area maps of the bat's hibernacula so they don't have to shut down the entire state but we'll see.....

Thanks, back at it! Whoops shut down on our job is from June 1 st to Aug 1st.

One thing that was fun about bats is when younger we would throw rocks in the air and watch them chase them and my sisters would get scared that a bat would get caught in their hair.
I've met Vets who have lived but still lost their lives... Thank a Vet

Family man and loving it :)

I don't get the impression that they are blaming any of this on logging.

We can only hope they don't try to save the bats by shooting loggers.  :)

make you a fake badge and tell them you are taking bat inventory and that you confiscatated the chainsaw if it comes to that :D :D :D :D :D

Interesting topic.

My neighbor is a 50yr+ Big Time Logger. He says the mills aren't taking logs until late this year. He says it happens every election cycle. I'm guessing he's speaking of each 4 years.
