So I found out Oregon has done away with .063, would have been nice to know in advance. Wondering if anyone knows where I could find some bars for a "brute-built-rite or valley" processor. Ive called around but no luck. Wondering if anyone else has run into this. Guess ive gotta bite the bullet and go .080  with a pile of chain left.

Have you tried to find a Carlton or Windsor distributor?  You might even call Oregon to find out if any of their distributors have any left in stock.  Regards, Clark

check e bay, sometimes you luck out.
I much prefer the .80 on the bell, less bendy.

I switched my processor over to .080 and I'm glad I did it. I seemed to break a lot of .063 chains. The .080 holds up better. I do understand how it's no fun to have a bunch of unusable chain though. Call Tony at Blockbuster and see if they have any left.

We can't give the Oregon 16H (.404 X.063) away, it doesn't last particularly in the temps many are experiencing now. Throw it in the weight box on the tractor and go with 18H.
