I went to Silver Springs today with my Niece and her husband Danny and nephew Aaron, and Pete and Lynda. Interesting place. Still rather tired from the 17 hour marathon drive down from Detroit after 3 hours to Detroit from my house.
Just call me the midget doctor.

Spend a few weeks down there and who knows, you may become a grits lover  :o  :).  Hope you have a great trip and get a chance to see some scenery.
