I just came back from my first fishing trip with with my new Garmin Panoptix live sonar.    I've got some of the best sonar tech made on our boats, and have seen a lot of incredible images, including picture quality side and forward scan, but nothing like this new, real time, Panoptix LiveScope.

It's like looking at fish in the water, real time, while they are swimming and eating.  It's truly amazing.

I didn't get to video the fish I caught on the screen, but I saw them, dropped to them, and watched them eat.  This isn't like 2D sonar, this is watching their tails beating and striking.  I could see my crankbaits wobbling through the water 30 feet away as I retrieved them.

Here's a couple videos.

I even put in a video of a guy throwing a cast net over some shad.

Take steps to save steps.

If it won't roll, its not a log; it's still a tree.  Sawmills cut logs, not trees.

Kiln drying wood: When the cookies are burned, they're burned, and you can't fix them.

Sawing is fun for the first couple million boards.

Be smarter than the sawdust
