I have a load almost ready for my DH Kiln. Do I need a lot of weight or ratchet strap the bundle to keep it flat? Is pine bad to warp? First batch of white pine I have done.
Thanks

Ratchet strap is all I have ever used and have dried lots of 1" thick pine with no issues.

Pine is pretty forgiving to dry. Main issue is to get it dry fast enough to avoid mould and staining. Some weight on the stack won't hurt anything, bur airflow for fast drying probably more important

It went straight from the mill to the kiln today. Got 2 more logs about 14 ft long and 28" in diameter to get milled this week. Bugs are already starting....
