So since we're on the subject, every so often I like to dump about a quart of two stroke mix into a full tank of diesel fuel in my pickup truck.  It's an old 1998.5 Dodge with the 24valve Cummins.  It has the VP44 pump, which, as many know, is the weak link on the engine.  They were made in a time before ULSD fuel which had a lot more lubricity in the fuel.  The fuel pump is designed to be lubricated by the fuel.  But the new ULSD fuel doesn't do an adequate job of lubricating the pump.  So, that's why I dump the 2 stroke in.  I always run a fuel additive as well, such as Stanadyne, Howe's, FPPF, or K100.  My question, how much 2 stroke oil should I dump in to be effective in a 30-35 gallon tank?  (Can't remember off the top of my head how many gallons it is).
Boy, back in my day..
