My Father's wooden handle one.
That loaded a lot of trucks in its day.
My Father was born in 1923.
I still have a bunch of hooks hung up in the old farm house. When the hooks would start to lose their grips, he would change one out for another one. He sent them to a black smith and he would be the bend back in.
I plan on getting one very soon. I have a birthday coming up.
It's in a couple weeks so look for one that is pre-dented.
Color does not matter, but would like a 48 inch one.
