She got bumped. They apparently tell more people they made it on the show because they expect some attrition along the way, then at last minute bump some to get down to the magic number. Her and 4 others were bumped at last minute just was second episode was aired, but invited to come back to try for season 7. what a bummer

I guess things happen for a reason. She is now in ICU fighting for her life, so just as well she did not consume a spot and not be able to compete and deny someone else that opportunity. I am not sure singing is in the cards for her any more after this auto wreck she had.
