A few months ago the Eco Industry charmers were selling people the idea that the Amazon was in a drought and the river would never be navigable again.
Now this, the result of a lot of snowfall in the Andes and now it has melted and coming down. Plus raining every day.

How high is your house again?
Keep your chin up and stay safe.
We are about 30 feet above the record level. No problems for us.
I'll bet there will be some HUGH areas of the Amazon basin flooded. :o :o :o :o :o

In many areas here you can go into the jungle thru the tree tops with a boat for several miles and by Sept all will be dry again and the process starts over. The river in front of town goes from about 200 yards wide to 20 miles wide inside the jungle most years.
