Friends,  I am battling pancreatic cancer .  It looks like I am winning.  Very tough.  I hope to return on-line by fall.  Long toad indeed.  Meanwhile, you all seem to be giving great info without me.  Gene

Kiln drying wood: When the cookies are burned, they're burned, and you can't fix them.

Gene, I'm so sorry to hear of your cancer battle.
More than one member of my family is going through similar medical situations, and they refer to it as a marathon. 
If in running your marathon, you hit the wall, have a look here on the forum and see that you are surrounded by friends.
You say that the advice that the forum members are giving each other or as good as what you would be able to offer. However, your years of wisdom and knowledge will be sorely missed until you return in the fall.
