This is how it worked with my logger. I got a check with a slip from each load that was hauled that week. I was paid weekly. Maybe there would be 20 loads of pulp and 5 of logs one week. Than the next week maybe 5 loads of pulp and 10 load of logs. This is how it was done with my logger. Some might do it diffeant.

We pay the LO monthly and he gets a copy of the scale slips for anything that goes to the mill. The only thing there are no slips for is firewood but I keep track of how many cords go out and pay accordingly.

He is paid a percentage on the logs, $5.00/cord on white pine pulp and $10.00/cord on hardwood, hemlock and aspen.

Did you sell the wood lump sum, one price paid to you up front, or did you sell it by the ton where you get paid for each load hauled from the property?  What does the contract say?

The price the mill pays to the logger/supplier is considered confidential, and they will not make it available to the public, in this case you.  You sold the wood to a wood supplier/logger, and what they sell it for after paying you is their business, and they may very well not disclose it.

I understand what y'all are saying... I believe my husband said the contract stated $7.20 per ton. It only took them 6 days to do the whole property and we will get paid in one lump sum Friday. Either way, our property will look amazing once we clean it up a little. They did a pretty good job.
