Food plot problem
my current cameras only allow a 5 minute delay between shots.
Consequently, I get dozens and dozens of pics of the same deer.
Anyone out there know of a camera that allows long delay?
My first ones, Cuddeback from about 20 or more years ago allowed long delay but of course they are long defunct.
Winter here has been very kind to the deer here.
I saw 4 in my son's mature woodlot yesterday, and 2 in my driveway this past Wednesday an unheard of happening in a normal year.
A responder on another forum suggested Tasco from Walmart. $33 buck so I bought one but it only allows 5 minute delay.
Tacticam reveal cellcams. I was doing that and changed my tactics. Ive now have any battery cameras pointing at edges to catch them coming in, rather than feeding.
great suggestion, Thanks Jeff
That's what I was thinking too Jeff, cover the bases coming in, or edge of the woods
I've been sick the last couple days, and have been comforted by having my live cams with sound up on my tv.

Peter, that camera was less than 75 bucks on sale just after christmas. It runs on very low amps, so 400ft of heavy extention cord got it much of the way to the pond, and we located the wifi hotspot for the cabin, out in the wellhouse which allows it to still get internet. It'll be so cool when the pond starts waking up this spring!
I suspect foul play....

Always cool on da u.p. cam
You can see the cord in this one.
Gotta click onto Jeff's pictures to really see them.
Foul Play? Animal?

Well, it stood there all winter until yesterday so it coulda been wind, but just as likely a bear. Easy target for a sniff or a kernel or 3
One Minute in March on the pond cam.
I like that minute.
A bear would rip the feeder open I think. Might be just wind.
You will know when you get back up there and see teeth marks on it. ffcheesy
I had a bear come in and rip down the bird feeders last sat.
So I fixed them and filled the feeders back up. :wink_2:

The deer all look slick and healthy and you are changing the profile in your neck of the woods.
