Yesterday i sent my crew to help a tree service friend do a small job.

2 weeks ago he was in an spat with his wife and from 30 yards away she shot him in the stomach wit a 410 pistol  ,bird shot and a slug. I know the guy and like him.

2 days in icu and he will recover but he needs time to recover,we just needed to help and i am glad we did.

Someone posted a large bond and the judge refused.

A spat! DanG that was some spat.
Let me guess, he got shot by a Judge?
The First 70 years of childhood is always the hardest.
My advice on aging gracefully... ride fast bikes and date faster women, drink good tequila, practice your draw daily, be honest and fair in your dealings, but suffer not fools. Eat a hearty breakfast, and remember, ALL politicians are crooks.

No kidding, some 'spat'.
A 410 pistol, 30 yards, birdshot AND a slug?
That's one pistol packin' Mama.
You're a good friend to help him out in his hour of need.
Small wonder people are always talking about how dangerous tree work can be !

A good friend you are, Al.  Sounds like "she work" can be more dangerous than tree work.

I did not ask about the spat but him being 30 yards away is what saved him.
