Soft Shell lobsters are relatively cheap in Maine these days. I am up away from the coast where the best deals are but there are folks who drive them up on weekends. I think I saw $5.99 a pound a week ago but $6.99 seems to be pretty reliable. I will get my yearly fill and then wait until the next time they are cheap.
