I worked next to a guy off an on that had a JD 440, he had bought it new. This was back in 1987, he was 82 at the time still running the JD back an forth all day, he had his son falling for him.
Third generation logger, owner operator, 30 yrs felling experience with pole skidder. I got my neck broke back in 89, left me a quad. The wife kept the job going up to 96.

I love working in the woods and logging, it is a way of life. You can't put me in a concrete jungle!
