There is a lot of excellent cedar in our area.  And a lot of field and fence row cedar.  These slabs were off of some real nice logs.  That's what gave me the idea to edge them.

An edger makes the process a reasonable task.   I can see how one could edge slabs on the mill with any efficiency.
