Title: Any Woodturners need a small sidejob ?
Post by: TexasTimbers on November 01, 2007, 03:48:47 PM
I need some osage sticks turned. I can provide the wood blanks cut hoeweber you want squares hexagons etc.  What I need is:

9 pairs of 1" round by 28" long - dowels basically

3 pairs of 1 1/8" tapered to 7/8" over 38" length.

Can anyone do this? The quality needs to be high which is why I am not going to try it. I don't have the experience to it.

Anyone interested?

A buddy pointed out to me that I failed to make my intentions clear. I failed tomention I am wanting bids on this. this ia not a favor i am asking or anything. It's an actual paying job! :)

I also wrote 9 pairs for the dowels I was really inouterspace I guess because I need 10 pairs of those.

But I must reiterate these things have to be flawless. Anyone know of a CNC shop that could do a prototype run like this without a huge setup charge?
