Finally (mostly) completed my Linn Lumber mill. I'll try to put up another thread soon with pictures. I have a Hilliard Extreme Duty centrifugal clutch that is giving me issues. I swapped the springs out from 1800 RPM to 2000 which helped it keep from engaging at idle, but now the issue seems to be the bushing. If it's well oiled it works, but it doesn't take long for the oil to wear off and it's dragging again. The way it's going it would need re-oiled every log. I'm wishing I had gone with a clutch with a ball bearing instead of a bushing now. Has anyone else had this issue? Is it possible to upgrade an extreme duty from a bushing to a bearing, or do you have another model you would recommend? I'm currently running a B belt with a 15hp Honda clone.
