Unusual but simple and effective. Might half to use that channel idea, what do you use on your chainsaw mill to stop it from scuffing away the aluminum(by sliding it on the steel channel)? Or is it not

@thecfarm hope to sell some, make myself a desk for work, and maybe some more benches, etc. around the shop. 

@HemlockKing that would be a problem if I did it more than once, yes. The rough steel would eat up the aluminum.
