How can I tell if it's running the right rpm's? Have not messed with it, and don't want to screw it up. It just seems that the chain could be going 'faster'....

Try leaning out the high speed until it just starts to scream with no hesitation then richen (turn anti clockwise) until it just starts to 'four cycle' or 'hunt'. Most new saws with the limiter caps need to be richened to the stop. 'Course, I would be the last to suggest trimming said caps. ;) Note that some saws have rev limiters built into the ignition that do not allow tuning by ear, use a tach.

Thanks, Sawguy21. Where can I find what the proper rpm's should be?
