Timberjack 209D skidder parts or project
« on: March 21, 2021, 04:09:32 PM »
Hello, I have a Timberjack 209D skidder that I started restoring years ago. I was on the Forum back then posting pics and getting great advice from members. There has been a lot of work done but there is a lot of work to do and I just have lost the drive to do it. Engine and trans are out. Engine is a Perkins smoke dragon. I had the walking beam machined and have new bushings for it. Blade lift cylinders have been rebuilt, transfer case is half rebuilt. I dont remember how it goes back together all the parts are there. Front differential is bad.  Front tires are very nice. Back tires hold air. I can put it together enough to get it rolling for somebody. Id just really like to get my money back out of it if possible but Ill take offers on it.  Located in the U.P. of Michigan. 906-370-704six Thank you.

Pinion gear is bad. Planetaries seem to be good. Wheels are 12 lug. 18.4-26 Firestone tires. I think its a '68 or '69. Would like to get $4k for whole thing. Thanks for your interest.

If you where closer......  Are you sure it is a

Perkins? Timberjack talks about a T-88 engine.  How far from the bridge are you? Or Detroit?
