Wondering what axles I have? Cant seem to post pictures. It has a Timberjack emblem on the axle cover. Then "Eaton R38430" on the axle under the machine. Timberjack 350

I'm using parts of an old band saw.very heavy steel shafts,wheels and bearings.when the blade carriage is done and motor installed it will be probably close to 300 lbs.any suggestions on lowering mechanism?My plan is riding on 4 posts.I'm thinking acme rod or cable. Appreciate any input.Thanks Ken

I am looking for spruce or hemlock. 24 feet long. 18 inches at narrow end. Northern NY, northern Adirondack. I will harvest myself. I need this to finish my cut list for my families timber frame home.

We are going to be sawing customers' logs for the first time in a while. I was planning on charging $125/hour for cedar and other lower yielding logs and $0.45/hour for decent logs. This will include John and me working, an edger and all of the support machines. We saw with an LT 50 with 47 hp Yanmar. Does this seem reasonable? Read More

Posting for a friend here in Northern Vermont who would like to trade his fairly new LT25 with trailer (value of about $5000) for a wide saw mill option. Could be home-made. Just needs to do the job.
