Couple of nifty photos I took the last time down to the Uncompaghre palteau.

Gunnison's Sage Grouse - this is a fairly rare bird, and there just so happens to be a few dozen or so that have taken up residence on the ranch.  This cock was seen every morning and evening for three days straight, and was photographed extensivley by yours truly.

got a nice rainstorm late the evening of this and the previous photo, when it cleared the light turned a bright purple for a good half hour.  I tok this one and the previous during that time.
