Yes, the cat approves, too! Great job. It is amazing how much you will use it, and you won't be able to understand how you did without it ;D. You did a great job on the match, too.
its been my experience trying to match older work can be the hardest part of renovation, it looks like you did a great job. :)

thanks all, moveable but to me it's in the way I have to go around it to get to the sink, I like it better with out it, but it's her house :D :D she don't tell me how to set my barn up or the mill barn :D
I think that you are looking at this the right way :D.
how do you make theraised panels? Do you start with a whole flat piece and router out the panel or what..i have no clue ??? haha but im really interested in starting to make some things likes this and cabinets and anything pretty much..ive made a clock, barn door cabinet, movie holder, and a few odds and ends :D
You use a raised panel router bit in a router table, at least that is how I have done it.
There is also the stile and rail router bits that one needs. Also very recomended use of router table top do this. :P
I have a shaper with all the bits

the shaper and the radial saw are in line, works good, I don't have a pic of the carbide bits
when I set the bit for the raze panel I use w pine to set it, then grab the r oak and push it through :o :o :o, wow that's not going to take that much wood off in one pass, I had to reset the shaper and take a little wood off at a time till I got to where I wanted to be
Nice shop Peter. :)
It sure is.
Must be a fake. It's too clean to be real. :D
