Special dinner
« on: December 01, 2011, 10:47:33 PM »
Both of us have been feeling like we were dragged through a knot hole feet first due to the flu. No fun at all, we were both eating but not really enjoying food.
I walked into the most wonderful smell tonight, naw can't be. Yup it was!!! Fresh and I mean FRESH oysters breaded with panko crumbs and a rice pilaf. Now I ask you, what can I say to a lady like that? So good I had to tell someone.  I would never be a successful vegetarian. :D Unfortunately no pictures, the camera is broke.

Mmmmmm!  I love fried oysters!  There's a little tiny seafood restaurant in my hometown of Fort Pierce, Florida on Hutchinson Island called The Ramp.  I always order their fried oyster dinner. They aren't overcooked but nice and juicey and served with yellow rice and black beans. 8)

Must be on the mend now if the food smelled good. I had something the other day. Came in the house for supper, did not feel all that great before coming in and than the smell of supper did it in for me. I did not eat that night. All set in the morning and looking for food.

I'll have to do a drive by because I love fried oysters.
Matter of fact that is the only way I would eat them.
