I was having a problem with my cant being out of square.
I tried using a tape measure to adjust the blade to deck but that was a pain having to bend over and try to sight the tape.
FINALLY figured out an easy, foolproof way!
I took a piece of 2" X 2"  (13" long) and used it for a gauge. I checked one side and then the other from blade to bunk, adjusted so it fit both sides. Too easy!
I can have a new gauge in seconds if I need it.

Don't undervalue Redneck Tech  :snowball:. That's worth at least $32. and a case of Schlitz.

I just flip the cant and run the blade up to the same height.   If the blade is running level it will match. If not level, the error will show up double.

Haven't seen Schlitz around here in years

I cut 2 Schlitz in my leg when I let that Cedar roll off the bed onto me.  :D
