The more I thought about this quick switch at the campground this evening the madder I got. I know Brent says it's all good and we are together anyway But when I call and reserve a specific site and others do the same and then I call and confirm that site a month ahead and then they change it without a word, well that ain't right. My wife is going to have much longer walk to the shower house now and her knees don't have many miles left on them.
Nothing we can do now but Joe and I are going to have a chat about how one treats one's clients when running a business. I am pretty dang pithed right now. It's not how I wanted to begin a trip to my happy place. :veryangry:

Made it to Hidden Hills. Kyle was here and set up when we got here. Tom and Austin, don't be concerned about the accommodations. I even moved from P2 to P8. Pretty much right across from your sites. It's actually a long enough site that I can drop the party deck out the back and still park the truck in front so all should be ok. Safe travels to all and look forward to seeing everyone.

Never gave that longer walk a thought Tom. Not 100% sure what their reasoning was for the switcharoo. Sounded like a family of 4 or something. Guess we'll find out tomorrow when you arrive.
Safe travels,

What time do the festivities start Tommorow.  I made it this afternoon and am staying right up the road at lake george.  Went to Harrison and picked up some steaks from Steve's market?  Top meat cits at basement prices so the sign says. Cool little grocery store. They have a lot of local stuff.

Jeff

We have no set time. Id say mid morning maybe? When is the campground crew getting up and put and about?

I didnt take any pics today, but I'm pretty sure some were taken!

Hope everyone has safe travels. I had planned on coming up. Life happens, we had a doctor decide to move to an all small animal practice a few weeks ago. That leaves us with three, one of which is greatly pregnant, one who is getting a new knee next week(me) and the senior partner who had his knees done already.  So with some forced time off I have to be on call this weekend and didn't even try to make this work. There is another doctor joining us but he won't get here till September.  I really wish I could be there and see everybody.  Enjoy the fellowship and take lots of pictures.

Well "some of us" were up fairly late (early?) enjoying each other's company and I am not sure when they might stir. I did see caveman out and about. Pat and I have been up for a while.
We will sou.ter off in little while to Sheri's for breakfast, then some quick shopping and love to the house around mid to late morning .
I did notice Ramon sneaking in a lot of photos last evening.

Tammy and I wanted to thank everyone that came to our home to spend the weekend with us. God was great and gave us weather that was not forcast earlier in the week. I apologize ahead of time for the lack of sharing coming from me here. I had an accident Friday night. Thank god no oneelse was anyone near other than me when I was flashburned by the pigroaster. Typing this is still a bit of an issue as my hands are still swollen. They began to blister again last night. The worst burns were on my left leg behind the knee and my hand. Anyhow, I was pretty repressed from my usual activities like taking videos and photos

Thank you thank you thank you to everyone that jumped in to help and that was basically everyone there. We love you people. ffsmiley

Hopefully it heals up quickly, burns are no fun. Glad everything else went well and there was lots of great help, and most important, that folks had a good time.  ffsmiley

2nd degree burns are very painful.  I hope you heal quickly.  Cool moist cloths, ibuprofen and Benadryl can help.
