26° here this morning and snow squalls, so far hardly much of anything and I think they will soon move out by daybreak. Might be one or two pop up before noon. The wind is going to blow hard all day though and the temp isn't going to budge much.  :snowball:  No hurry to change the oil in the lawn mower, gents.

Don't even mention mowing the lawn.  :wacky:
Full sun today but won't get much warmth from the sun today. Should get just above freezing today.
Then snow starts at mid night but should be done by 9 in the morning.
Almost made it through March without a snowstorm.
I have 24 this morning.

I'm not use to this cold weather!!

Temp has been dropping here, 20° now and a howling wind. Squalls still churning up but not accumulating, real fine.

26° here this afternoon and it is clear as a bell since noon. Still breezy. Took a buggy ride to the woodlot, snow shoed a little. Only saw one snow shoe hare, nothing else but squirrel tracks.

Clear as a bell out there this morning, no wind, 18°. But snow expected this afternoon and into the night. 2" of snow predicted. Looks like snow/rain squalls all week long up here from the forecast.

Our weather has been all over the place. We were in the 50's for a day or two, then a couple days ago, we woke up to 3" of snow. It's been snowing and raining since. Last night it started warming up, and was up to 44 and raining when I got up at 5:30.  Supposed to hit 60 by Wednesday. Typical March...it's gonna change every 15 minutes!
I'm so far behind, I think I'm ahead!

Woke up to a very mild dusting this morning, very mild, and it turned to rain. Low so far today is 31 and the high is 35. Rainy, dank, damp, and not pleasant at all. Rain should stop in a few minutes according to the radar. Expected to go down in the mid 30's every night for the next 10 days or so and only hitting 50 once or twice. Spring is slow coming for sure, by my account.

Could get up to 5" snow up here, but usually you divide their number by 2 to get the real one.  ffcheesy ffcheesy

Light snow moved in around 3:00 pm this afternoon. It's not the kind of snow that adds up.

Snow started for 20 min then turned to mostly ice and rain now. Winds picking up good for ground we needed a rain sort of dry for this time of year

Purolator has a parcel of mine, the local delivery guy has put off delivery for 4 business days now. Keeps saying weather delay every day it's on the truck for delivery. I wonder how many days they play that game?  That light dry snow right now never stopped FedEX from coming. LOL

I have 24° and 4-5 inches of new snow on the ground.
A high of 46 today and looks like below freezing each night for a week and nothing in the 50's for the week ahead.

Barely an inch of snow here. Never snowed for much duration and was light dry stuff. Melting now, 35°. Road is bare.  I went up to the woodlot with the buggy early and cut some firewood this morning. Like to have 4 more cords for next winter. No heat, no flies and not much snow, good timing.  ffsmiley

Had to hook the winch on to a tree, because I hit a deep spot that was hard on the way in, coming out the wheels were off the dirt and spinning in snow. Then I noticed the winch's positive wire not hooked back up. Wedged it in under the starter wire, made good enough contact to run the  winch in and out. I thought something malfunctioned at first try, click...click. Hmm. Anyway, looked under the seat and seen what was up. Well, I'm here to tell about it.

I had 30° here just before daylight and it was 40° at noon. I think it will climb another 5° by 5:00 pm. Was nice and clear here in the morning, but there was a fog just before daylight. All clouded over here now.

I cut firewood this morning again. I thin as well, so the wood doesn't add up as fast when you're cutting junk out of the way or spruce poles for corduroy. A lot of the times I have to buck the aspen vertically, big limbs will grab 6 spruce trees when you snip if free of the stump. Doesn't make any difference and it really doesn't seem to hurt them spruce anyway. Black spruce is tough, pretty much the toughed softwood there is. :D
