We started counting batteries and tires a while ago and started to get sick. Only a few detroits left here, mostly Cats in our trucks, and deere engines in our equipment. Cummins in our offroad crane, chipper and my new skidder. Few lister engines, deutz in sawmill and 1 screener.
Too many, 7 Cat, 3 Cummins, 1 Deere and 1 Duramax
I have 3. Cummins in the Dodge, John Deere power unit on a skid for the mill and a Detroit in an old loader. I changed the oil in the truck this morning. :)

two IH furds, a 7.3 and a turboed 6.9, 1 volvo thats really a VW, the deere in the skidder... Need a cummins or another IH for the dump truck (has a 360 gasser now, but a cummins would look real nice in there) Trying to get rid of all my gas engines excepting saws.

2 diesels for me!! my Jetta tdi :D 465 000 km and still purring. and my DD 4-53 in the clark 666. I have a f250 with a 5.4L gas but it sounds like a diesel tho!! haha (*DanG cam phasers)... if your bored type (5.4L sounds like diesel) in youtube, their are quite a few interesting videos. :D

I know I have too many because I have a mechanic that works 50 to 60 hours a week and makes more than 40 grand a year of my hard earned money. Every day I get at least one to two calls to tell me what is broken My fantasy is to have things work so well I can fire my mechanic. I tell him this every Friday when I pay him

Did start the mill up last week.
Only 2 here so far.
One 619 cid deere and one 4 cylinder ford. The deere is thirsty enough at 12 gallons an hour :-\
353 detroit in my franklin logger.
3-5 gallons of fuel per day max. and that gets me 8+ hrs of work and 5-8 cord worth of wood out.
