Title: Sad to see the old mill go
Post by: Crossroads on November 13, 2017, 10:21:32 PM
Spent a couple hours giving the new owner the rundown and cut a few boards. Then loaded the mill on his trailer and watched it leave the driveway for the last time. I enjoyed running the old mill, but I'm looking forward to the next chapter with the new mill.

Loading was a piece of cake, just used the tractor with a 2" ball in the bucket.

Ah ha, it's good to see you on here! Lots of good info to be shared in these pages. If you decide to add the roller toe boards, the plans/pictures can be found here https://forestryforum.com/board/index.php/topic,39860.0.html

I think once you get the hang of the band mill, it will compliment your swing blade very nicely.
