Sawmills and Milling / Re: lT50 Shipped 1st Week of A...

That's what happened to me August of 2023.   A mill was ordered and the customer never responded to attempts from the dealer to contact him.

I was next on the list for an LT50.  Fortunately it was just as I ordered.

FWIW, the jury is still out on the high performance guides.  They decrease the cut width a bit and they made blade changes a little more challenging.  Not sure how they improve cutting because I've not cut without them on this mill.

The debarker, on the other hand is a must have.

Never used a ride along seat but understand it's relatively easy to remove and reinstall.  This mill has command control which I really like.

I just realized that comes out to $7.70/log! You done good! coming into the market at the high end of the price range. I am the highest priced guy in NYS at $6/log. If I could get your price, I would quit my day job, oh wait. ffcheesy

I for got to mention earlier, but if you are going to do it regularly, best to get yourself a good chiropractor. I am on my way to see mine in about an hour. :wink_2:

Not gonna see any sun here today. It took all last evening for the dew point and the air temp to coincide and allow rain, which started just after midnight. We are now well over 1/2" of rain and a lot more coming through the day. Glad I got the grass cut yesterday, this rain would have forced me to get a brush hog or sickle mower to cut it. ffcheesy

For myself I am following along lightly. You do have an engineer on the job, which is good to see.

How do those roof lines tie together?

I know Deck House and Acorn Structures pretty well. Go to the AITC website, American Institute of Timber Construction, under their publications I think they will have span tables for various decking spacings and layups. I suspect you can stretch the bent spacing if desired.

The bill was just on the counter and I think it was in the $2.39 per gallon range? Seems expensive, comparatively.

Get a grip Peter.

That was sawed dimensional thickness and full width as per the customer's cut list.

Often orders are filled with sawmills that were ordered and then declined by the buyer after they were built.  In those instances some options are then dealer installed.
