 negative 28°C here this morning, putting wood in the furnace and warming up with the glow of coals from it is nice. Almost like having the sun beat down on you in the summer. Well almost  being the key word here :D

-30 at my place this morning. Limestone Me was -36 and a bit farther up, Van Buren ME was -47F.  I bet they're doing some serious "blattin' " up there...

Holy mackerel, Crow, that's just silly cold!  12:30 in the afternoon down my way and we're at all of -4.  It's like winter or something?! :o

Van Buren is my hometown and mama still lives there.
I miss that place and think fondly of it but not on days like today.
It is 87 degrees here.  Record highs since 1931.

Well it's +8 and I'm in  for lunch , the blades don't like frozen w pine, I have sparks on the outgoing side of the cant.  :D :D :D another 60 1x12x12'. ;D

Ya, I tried southern living for a few years many years ago, but there's just too many things there that want to eat you, kill you, or give you a rash..  Cold or not, this is my "happy place."

I know along that Nashwaak river it can get mighty cold. I knew fellow in Penniac and it was a lot colder there than in town (Fredericton) a good many mornings.

this crap is getting very old :(had to fuel the skidsteere this morning broke the 1" fuel hose completly off, blew a hydralic filter off the tractor.  just a few problems severe cold brings.
not to mention i'm feeding twice the amount of feed, something im already short on.

We have it rough here too. I was driving my truck around town today and it got so uncomfortable inside that I was forced to roll down the window. :o :o :o :o :o :o

The weatherman got it wrong. It was 75 and sunny and the wind forgot to show up. ;D 8) 8) 8)

I don't think I've seen anything below -10 in my 21 years.

New Whiteland hit -36F, Jan 19, 1994.  It was -20 here.
