I've heard people refer to there OWB's being at a 20% draft. The one I heard mention was a Heatmaster MF5000e. Is there a draft control on these? and where is it.
It's usually measured in inches (or parts there of) of water column vacuum most of the time with a manometer that you hook up to your flue.
Google "Dwyer Manometer"
I have a Heatmor. Mine does not have a natural draft. Open the door and the smoke comes out. That is why I can burn dead wood in mine and have a controlled fire. When the fans are not running the fire is smothered out.
The Heatmaster MF models have a manual damper so you can adjust the volume of airflow. It still cycles on and off with the solenoid flap and fan.
20% sounds very low though, I'd think it would be close to making creosote.
