i had a 36 husky given to me "125psi compression" what the heck make it run..
install new "re-pop" carburator, plug, air filter.
Fired right up and tuned in quite well, then found the clutch drum tko.
2 weeks later i got the new drum, put it together and it ran poor.
So i replaced the fuel line, runs a dite better but still no mid range throttle and wont hold an idle any longer then 10-20 seconds.
I ordered another 15 dollar special slow boat carb.
Any thoughts, dont really know what else to do?

Air leak? Piston or ring scored enough to just barely run?
